DIY Detergent

Every article of clothing (even the dog collars!) that is sold by Create Good has been washed in detergent that Maggie makes at home, and because so many of you have asked for the recipe in the past, we wanted to share it here!

Ingredients (you can find them all in the detergent aisle!):

1 box of Borax
1 box of Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda
1 container or OxyClean (optional, but recommended)
2 bars of Zote Soap
1 large (4 lb) box of Baking Soda
1-2 bottles of Purex Crystals Fabric Softener

Directions:

-  Grate the Zote soap with a cheese grater or food processor
-  In a large container, mix grated soap with all remaining ingredients
-  You did it!

You can use 2-4 tablespoons per load, and you’ll be thrilled to see how long it lasts, how great your clothes smell, and how much easier it is on your pocketbook! What's not to love?
